Halfway through my MSc I was stuck—unsure how to frame a research question, run a proper literature review, or structure methods. My academic advisor helped me shape the dissertation plan ethically: weekly milestones, a clear outline, feedback on my lit-review logic, and guidance on methodology/analysis. I did the work, but with real direction—and finished with 75% (Distinction band), beyond my expectations.
