I was torn between Maths with Economics and straight Economics at three different universities. The advisor helped me compare modules, teaching styles, and placement years, and showed how each path aligned with careers in policy vs. finance. We built a UCAS list, prepped for open days, and mapped internships/skills for each option. I accepted an offer that fits my goals perfectly and I finally feel confident about my direction.
